Blaster Rebuild

So I have some new parts that came in including Wiseco piston 66.50mm, new red chain and sprockets, and front / rear tires. I also did a start up of both blasters before they get rebuilt. I'm keeping the special edition and selling the 2002 once I find a black nose cone. Thanks

Got some more time yesterday and started the tear down. Everything was going smoothly until I stripped a Philips bolt holding the stator Whoops. The cylinder and piston off of the black blaster was an eBay kit, surprisingly it looked o k. Still have to fab up something so I can pull apart the cases.

create a phoyobucket account, its free, upload them there. Once uploaded on the right hand side of the picture there will be a couple options, click the one that says "img code" it will auto copy, then come here and in the type box right click paste the code. It will post the picture for you!

Update!!! And what type of reeds are these? On left came out of 2006, on right came out of 2002.

Those look like carbon flex reeds. I think Vito's or Boysen made them.
I ran a set of those for a few years with no problems.

No top end kits, all trash. Get your oem cylinder bored out to new piston.

Unfortunately the blaster didnt come with an oem cylinder. Do u suggest buying one second hand?

I'd even spend the money to re-sleeve a Yamaha cylinder before I spent a nickel on a Chiwanese Junker

Update, painted the head. Main bearings and seals came today hopefully tomorrow I can go pick up the crank and cylinder
