I have a 2002 blaster that I bought as a project.... I have have the top and bottom rebuild and bored .40 I've replace the cdi the stator the coil its getting good spark but its still not kick starting or push starting the compession is at about 80 psi....

if that compression truely is at only 80 psi, you've got problems.
a fresh rebuild should be between 120-130+ compression.
who did the rebuild ?
was the cylinder measured/bored/honed to fit the specific piston used ?
has it been leakdown tested ?
is the piston in the correct direction ?

time to start tearing into it and see whats wrong, starting with a leakdown test to check for gasket and seal leaks, a check of the reeds, piston direction (arrow facing exhaust), ect. ect.

click the very bottom link under my sig pic for links to trouble shooting

Yeah I just replaced my Top End because of the same problems... Compression!!! mine was reading 92 at the time. I did a whole rebuild on the top end new Gaskets, New Piston and Rings, I bored it out to 66.40 and the engine starts on the first kick cold or hot.... Run your test and let us know... Now I'm dealing with Clutch issues yeah....
