Hy guys an old but not so active member, my buddy got himself another blaster, had a fresh topend, I know for sure he did not break it in properly, and it messed up the piston it's all scratched up, not sure if the oil injection pump failed? It seems to have wore only in the front and back figured you guys would know, regardless we bought a block off kit ands new clutch as it was worn, he is considering A used 240 kit, what do you guys think? Any experience? Anyone selling one? Is it worth it, thanks!

The pump was possibly doing its job, but was it bled correctly after rebuild.
Was a leak test performed after rebuild and prior to starting?
Front and back wear sounds like a sloppy piston, or a bore out of specs allowing piston slap.

What brand is the 240 kit? in my opinion i would get a ct the vito's is kinda week i think i have one and i don't really like it
