Amzoil 10w40?

Amzoil 10w40 wet clutch compatible, good for my blaster? Not expecting hi proformance stuff just wanna make sure it'll work right and save my gears and clutches. Thank ya guys

I just put amzoil 10W-40 in my blaster when i put a new clutch in it. I asked the guy at the yamaha dealer if it would be ok and he said it would be fine. he has worked at this dealership as a mechanic for over 20 years so im gonna take his word for it.

Yamaha service manual page 2-1 recommends the use of Yamalube 4 , (10w30) and SAE 10w30 type SE motor oil.

This recommendation is possibly because 30 grade oil is the correct viscosity for the correct operation of the clutch.

I run nothing but the 10w40 amsoil in my gixxer,shee,blaster,kdx its the best!
