Air filter

I'm currently running a stock air filter. I have a uni clamp-on also and I was wondering if there was any benefits to running it instead of the stock.

nice, I most likely will because I'm never in water or mud anyway. What size jet will I be looking at if I put that filter and a better pipe and silencer?

Is the jetting stock? If it is then maybe 4 sizes bigger on the main and 2 bigger on the pilot

I'd buy a piece of 4in velocity stack and clamp it on just for a more direct air flow...

i wouldnt mess around with the pilot jet. it depends what pipe u get but usually the jetting for a pipe and filter is anywhere between 260 and 300.

Im not saying your wrong but I just don't understand how it flows better when it looks the same as stock.To me there both just foam filters with oil on them.I have been told they flow better then K&N filters but don't understand how.Some one set me streat on this please.

its just the way there made. the foam is designed to let air through it better then the stock one
