Adjust standard rear end?

Hey all,

I'm trying to stiffen up my standard rear shock, have undone the locking nut, applied penetrative oil for a few days to loosen it up, but I can't for the life of me move the adjusting nut below the spring perch.

Went and purchased (then modified) a 32mm spanner for the job with no luck. Just seems to slip.

Help!

Buy a 400ex rear shock with KOR bushings. Will raise the rear a little bit and give you a better ride for about $75
