Is it possible to run a 4 wire stator on a Blaster that has the newer CDI and the 5 wire setup? Just wondering if I can swap complete motors without changing out the stator.

Yes. just one of the wires on the 03+ CDI will have to be cut and spliced. my CDI went bad and i got an 03+ for cost of shipping. pre-03 blaster
