+4 Mil Stroker Crank question

I am thinking about getting a +4 stroker for my blaster, I know I'll need to trench the case. My question is how much will I need to trench the case? My friends dad owns a machine shop and he said he could do it for a case of beer, good deal right!

Why not just do a 3mm like you sig says? no trenching required

Well I was thinking of doing the +3 a while ago. I talked with Ken and he said the +3 isn't consistent and suggested the +4 hot rod or his +6. Since they are about the same price I see it as an opportunity.

I would say get the +6. But you will have to send it to ken for trenching

I'm trying to find the specs for trenching, my friends dad will do it for a case of beer (he owns a machine shop). That would be cheaper then sending it to ken and paying the return shipping too.
