260 main/needle at #3 or 290 main/needle at #2

Runs almost identical but 290 main and needle at #2 feels better on top end.

I've heard you want the needle in the #3 or 4 position but I just can't get it to run right in those positions. I probably need a 240 main or something to get it to run there.

are you sure about that? lol stock is 230 man i wouldnt want my clip any lower than 3rd, i run it in the 4th on my stock carb

i'd always say run the biggest main that it will let you without fouling plugs, but we need more info on what mods you have on the bike???

FMF Fatty w/core 2. K&N filter, bored 1 mm over (.040), stock valve cage/reeds.
