2003 with a DT200 swap need help

yes unfortunately there is some play in the connecting rod.... So I suspect I will be splitting the case which was another thing not in the budget but oh well such is life. I took a micrometer to the cylinder and it measured 69.9mm so it is probly on the 70 bore. Isn't that too big for a blaster piston? Seemed common for the dt200 but large fir a blasterThanks again for the info guys. Keep it coming!

Something fishy with your bore measurement. Stock bore on the DT200 and the Blaster is 66mm. There is no way you can bore either of them out to 70 mm. And you can't put a big bore sleeve in the DT200 and still use the exhaust powervalve.

Ah yes sorry, you are right I remembered wrong I'm pretty sure I measured it at 66.9. Got my numbers mixed up, also another correction the bike has a dg pipe and silencer on it and from what I read it is not a good way to go... I promise to be more accurate in the future just don't have much free time and everything gets a little fuzzy

Awesome find guy.
Hopefully you have all the wiring for the DT200. Need it for the powervalve servo.
As said, the Blaster case has better gear ratios for a quad, would be best to use Blaster bottom end.
Yes, DT200 has a mechanical tach drive and uses exact same piston. Head gasket is very different but everything else is pretty similar. We didn't even have the plastic gear problem that McDizzy did.
