2000 Blaster won't start

Sorry im new to quads. Got a blaster from a friend of a friend. It has been sitting for a while He said. He told me it needs a spark plug so I put one in a B8ES. It started then stalled and I couldn't get it start ever agian. I started to take the carb of and noticed the throttle body was never in all the way. So I screwed it in still nothing. It sounds to have good compression and the spark and reeds have a small gap but are good. I changed coil and gas. Still nothing. Plz help

Sorry like I said I'm new to all of this. What is this yellow/clear line exactly I don't know if it came undone when I was working on it.

That is a breather line it's not supposed to be hooked to anything up top. As far as your starting issue need a lot more info to go on. Start with a leak down test and an actual compression test and go from there.

Should the gas in the bowl be mixed or str8 gas and how do I know if I have a bad oil pump? I had it running yesterday had to tow it with my go kart ran for a min or so then stopped...when I tried again it wanted to start the bogged when I hit the throttle.
