What is that spacer ring on there for? Nothing like that was on mine.

There is not a spacer ring on it. I dont know what you are looking at? sorry

It looks like there is some type of metal ring next to the splines.Looking at the pic the left side splines.Looks like a nice clean axle for somebody.
