i'm getting there haha.it's been raining really hard here and i've not been able to get to town to buy some oil. my blaster is past due on a changing. as soon as i get the oil changed i'm going to ride it for 20-30 min and check temps and see what i'm working with.

nope... it's about 10-15 degree's hotter. but anyway as said i'm still working on it...

ok keep thinking that the oil doesn't get that hot in a air cooled 2 stroke.

there's a tiny little odd shaped clip on the kick start assembly that pushes the gear out to turn the engine over. (i forgot to put mine back in so i just fiddle with the kicker till it catches) but if i had to say i'd say thats the problem

i have whought about the oil pump issue and i've got a old one took apart to see if there is a way to improve it. if not i'll be using a small electric pump that will run off the lighting coil. if it works and works good i may sell kits to do this. and as lasxgames said... the clutch life is one...

not being mean but i'm a mechanic i know how engines work. but 2 stroke tranny's still gather ALOT of heat and as said anyway to help cool a engine is a plaus... and i've already got the crap laying around to do it so i'm going to try :)

i'm trying to figure out a way to use the oil injection pump to pump the tranny oil through a oil cooler radiator. and ideas? i know it's worth the trouble cause the 4 strokers put oil coolers on and it makes i'm run harder, and last longer since the cooler your oil is the cooler your engine is...

yamaha is my first choice in bikes/quads, the honda, then ktm, then kawasaki, then gas gas then, i'd rather walk, and then suzuki

my '84 250 looked like that (well hella lot better plastics) when i got it :) just took it apart to clean the frame up. and needs topend build. plus i got 3 extra new back tires, extra new front tire, extra set of rims, extra plastics, full DG exhaust i paid $75 for all of it :D

99% of brand name 2 strokers use the same plug (even honda :D they have weird ass 4 stroke plugs)
