Great news! She's up and running! Got a compression tester,new spark plug again,and a used oem stator. Compression was at 120 I had spark after installing the used oem stator and not that caltric junk. Gave her a kick and she fired right up. I just want to say thanks for all the replys guys...

Ok so here's the update. Just bought a compression tester new plugs and a used but good shape oem stator(had to drive two hours away for it). Now in waiting for this storm to stop in eastern pa. After that I can answer all your questions accordingly if it doesn't turn over tomorrow .

I get a smell of gas but when removing the plug no wetness. So tbrooks as far as the stator what test can I do to see if its bad? I'm just trying to save a lil but if I have to get a oem one then I guess I have to but I just do t get it if its getting spark when I kick it every time what issues...

Just got back from the shop and no stators in stock! Does anybody know about aftermarket stators? They have a 45$ caltric stator on ebay! Should I just get that one?

Yea top end is done wiseco piston and rings I got the cylinder rehoned gaskets in place great compression no damn spark!
