    Parting out complete blaster.

im in for some front end stuff for a project i got, it is juice style? a-arms spindles and hubs calipers.

    Im gonna try it

i had aluminum rollers on my banshee, never had any issues with them.... i would use 2 of thous together on a shoulder bolt, you want the roller to be a lot wider then the chain, and you want it to you know, roll. a hollow shoulder bolt with a grease zirk in the end of it and some precision...

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

nah, my wifes current blaster looks VERY similar to this one actually. that does not mean that a RADICALLY different design or way of thinking would not work. just that the COMMON designs are just that, common. and that we have pretty much reached max efficiency in thous designs so...

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

the charge it takes can be fed into the head design based on the port design. its a matter of making the porting work with the head, that should be in consideration already. ive went over that before, good port timings are useless if the port shape is haggard and malformed.

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

its no where as drastic as a barrel would be (length for velocity, etc). plus the ultra low compression stock makes it utterly useless in shape. it would not be possible on a stock head but a gun designed with a spark plug instead of a firing pin could be designed. to get velocity behind...

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

a blank bullet in a gun will take yur hand off if its in front of the barrel, a same sized explosion sitting on an open hand would only cause some minor burning. the charge would be allowed to go any direction like in a normal wide dome, instead of directly directly down at the piston.

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

i think if it was more drastic and barrel like, like a gun barrel on top of the piston. and the charge could be fired down like firieng a blank bullet, it would be more effective in pushing the piston, we want directional motion out of the explosion.

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

and that slight swoosh that some people cut into domes on ebay and try and pass them off as 'ultra hp 250% gain just mount this and youll instantly be the fastest thing on the planet' thing really is not comparable, over the tiny shape and huge open end of the dome that pattern does almost...

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

yeah, even if it did zig zag some it would be auto correcting on it own just because it would have to burn away from the point of ignition. i dont know rather a complete funnel shape, or a straight barrel with a flare at the end would be the best. but a directional forced charge is always...

    Head swap, Hemi for torroidal

i always wanted to velocity stack the spark plug. a short barrel would give the wave front of the flame more downward movement. only thing is timing would have to be altered as having a barrel on the flame front would naturally retard it some. plus the chamber shape would need to be almost a...

    to much fuel

honestly i wasnt trying to point out correctness or anything. i was trying to be helpfull. my wife continually points out that i get along and have less hostile conversations with machines then people, so i am sorry for coming off sounding like a DB. and i am really good at finding things that...

    to much fuel

they are all honda clone motors. the dang polaris 50 uses the same motor. i had a carb get dirty and gummed up and i got a CRF50 carb to go on the chinese atv because it was 12$ and the rebuild kit was 11$. look, dont look for hyotibigatchi parts, or whataver brand is on the plastics. look for...

    to much fuel

what country do you live in? i dunno about you but here in amarichina all we can get is chinese knock off parts. ive got 2 of the china atv's for my kids, dead simple to work on, parts are DIRT cheap. and even shipping from china they get here in a week.

    port timings

port timing is about 50% of a good port job. a hacked up port shape with great port timings wont do near as good as a stock timed jug with re-chambered and shaped ports.

98 kx250 piston odd size jug

you would be amazed at how far off it can be and still run o.k. especially in a fairly stock blaster motor. its not a nitro drag engine measured to ten-thousandths.

98 kx250 piston odd size jug

piston size a and b is due to the tooling slightly changing size over the course of production. at some point the very slightly enlarge the piston to make it back in spec. on motorcycles that went through HUGE production runs like the cbrf2 ive seen all the way out to like piston f. which...

    banshee help

actually if you are piped i would at least pull the lid and rejet. there's no sense in uncorking one side of the motor only to leave the other side corked up. my banshee is big bore, head modded to the limit of a stock head (banshees really need a cool head to go to the limit of the fuel)...

    trx250r VS. 450

you need to test ride them both on a track setting and see which you are faster on. if you can ride a 2 stroke fast you will always be faster on it. if you are better on the 4-stroke torque curve then get a 450. given the choice i would take a trx450 then a yfz450 but really they are both...
