hey folks, i'm in the middle of completely tearing down my second blaster for restoration. the axle assembly is completely tore down for bearings, seals, grease, etc. my question is the axle itself is kind of grimy nasty. how do you prep for reassembly and clean it up. sandblasting ok...

what's the proper way to remove the axle from the carrier of an 02 blaster? i have the swingarm removed with the axle and carrier installed. i would like to leave the carrier in the arm if possible. Thanks David

on my 2003 blaster there is a brass fitting (looks like a hose fitting) directly underneath the butterfly. It has never been hooked up since i have owned it. any idea what it is and if something should be hooked to it? Thanks, David
