I talked to ken o Connor today and he told me that oem plates would be the only ones to fit the Hinson basket he also knew instantly tusk wouldn’t work with Hinson , I’m learning more the deeper I go thanks for the help friend!!

could be the fibers quality control off ? I'd file the tabs on the fibers before filing on that basket, or buy another set of clutch fibers only

Damn... It.... You were right about the grooves in the fingers. I was doing a good job filing them down smooth and then I hit the compression stroke while spinning the basket, so I got the bright idea to use a pry bar to spin the basket and I broke a finger off. *face palm So now I'm shopping...

Also one more thing I noticed was in between the clutch plates there was a metal ring there. Is that suppos to be there? An if so what kind of condition should it be in?
