Welcome to the forum. Is this your first quad? I'm always glad to see younger people like yourself interested in the sport.
Welcome, look around and do some reading to learn how to take care of your 2 stroke. Everything you need to know is here, and we are all glad to help you with anything you might need, as long as you are willing to listen. First in order on a new to you ride is compression test and leak test to check the health of your quad!
This is my third quad, my first was an 84 LT185,second was a chinese quad and now this beast!!!
It starts second kick cold every time so id guess its pretty healthy. Its got good compression but i havent tested it yet. I think my dad has a leak down tester at work, ill ask him.
My baby!! It has an fmf fatty and some stupid aftermarket lights on it. The rear one stopped working so I took it off yesterday. I have added some homemade mudflaps to keep the water and mud off and on old 60s bicycle basket onto the grab bar for when I can collecting. I need a front brake cable and rear brake assembly that im getting next sunday. This thing is a "blast" to ride hehe

Do not get confused between a leak down tester and a leak tester.
Leak down testers are used to diagnose blow by on four stroke engines.
Leak testers are used to pressurise the crankcase of a two stroke, to diagnose air leaks.
