a 500cc motor in a blaster is crazy. if built perfectly it would prob ride like a bag of crap, wayy to much torque an hp for such a little quad. ive drivin a ktmsx250 swapped blaster am it is a hand full pluss the vibrations have you barly feelin your hands when you hop off.

if it passed a leak test an the bike is jetted correctly theres no reason for it to heat up or wrong. if uve replaced the crank seals it shouldnt be burnin trans oil thru the seal. dos it puff out white sh*t smelling smoke when its running?

id recommend you reinstall the stock carb.... without a ported jug or head mod that carb aint gonna give ya much more then a blown up motor by the sounds of it.

u can get by replacing one case side. if ur worried u can get some sand paper an glass an plain the serfice down alittle before installing but i dont think ud even need to. why do u wanna replace that side case? cuz of the jb? if its working i wouldnt mess wit it. the cylinder prob has bolts...
