Sorry guys I've been busy, just started a new job and stuff. I live in Malone, ny. As for parts, I don't really NEED anything specific. I was looking to trade for an aftermarket exhaust (preferably a DMC alien) or any other aftermarket parts.

No I forgot to leak test before I put it back together. It's been way to hot for me to do anymore work on it lately. Next thing I do is another leak test.

Thanks for the reply. Upon further inspection it doesn't appear to have a gasket in it at all. I'm surprised at how well it runs for having such a bad leak. I think I have a brand new gasket somewhere. I was thinking it was the metal head gasket for some reason. I'll put a new gasket in and do...

I did a leak test today and I noticed right away it's leaking out of the cylinder base almost all the way around. I wanted to check with you guys before I go throwing money at it. Should I try torquing it back to specs or do I definitely need to replace the gasket? Thanks.

I have a full rolling chassis with a complete engine that I Started to strip to paint the frame. Everything is pretty much there, wire harness and coil, no headlight though. The engine is off the frame but it's in great shape, shifts good. I don't know if it runs. I'll trade it for a decent full...

I just picked up a Husqvarna dirt bike and I'm trying to find out exactly what size and model it is. I was told it's a 430 but I'm thinking it could possibly be a 500, it's two stroke. I have the vin number if that would help, I don't have any pics right now.

Sorry, It IS those two holes that the screws go in. I thought it was the other two cause they were threaded.

Under the stator? The stator won't sit flush if there was a screw under it. Mine doesn't have holes through the stator that line up there. The way mine came off...the other two threaded holes were lined up with the stator holes and had screws through them.

It's not one of the threaded bolt holes. It's one of the other un-threaded, long and deep holes. They appear to be sealed or supposed to be but I can't see all the way in that well.

Yours seems different for some reason, I don't know if it's the angle of the engine because mine is sitting on the floor. The stator bolts go in the two opposite holes on my engine. The ones you have them in aren't threaded on mine. I'll post my own pic and circle the one in red that the air is...

I'm trying to do a leak test but not having any luck. I've got the exhaust blocked off and the leak tester inserted into the carb boot and tightened. I can't get it to pressurize. I could hear a whistling leak. I tore the stator off and found that the air is coming out of one of the holes behind...

I don't have a lid on it, maybe that's the problem? I have a lid to the airbox but no bolts to put it on. I think I see 220 printed on top of the main real tiny.

Thanks bud! I'm going out to check the carb now, see whats up with the jetting. Prob going to tractor supply in a bit to make a leak tester.

I understand that, I have a carb all setup with an idle screw already installed. I just need to know what cap to get so I don't have to buy a whole kit.
