    thats gotta be it cause it was good till now but it got into the 40's and 50's here my bike normally runs in 80 to 90 degree weather. .

    yes, cold = leaner, when i bought my first blster brand new in '96, it actually came with a i size bigger jet for temps under 20 degrees i think, and i've seen guys on here going up 2 sizes for winter

    i know, jetting sucks donkey dick, i worked all summer getting that stock carb right, and now went 34mm, and it was givin me fits, i already talked to the yamaha mechanic at ebensburgh yamaha, he assembled my motor with my parts for $110, and he said for me to wait till it warms up and he'll jet it for me, so that told me he knows what he's talkin 'bout, knowing that temp affects it, prolly what i'm gonna do, no matter the cost, better than frying my new port job

    Sorry bro, my chat took a crap on me last night. Not sure if it was the chat room or my computer. Seemed like several people were having problems. Anyway, I think I narrowed it down to a timing problem. I'm bout to go out and pull the flywheel and check to see if the key is sheared off.

    yea when the pads wear right they will work even better.. i was locking up all day cause im not used to just barely hitting them..

    yeah they work great, wait till you get the hang of not stomping on the pedal so hard, and actually letting them work not just locking up, and the pads wear in good too, it only gets better!!!
