    ok i have another question whats the best fuel mixture for the blaster. i was running 32:1 castrol 2stroke and it was running good they told me it was to much to do 50:1 but i think thats lean so i did 40:1 but i feel it running hot.but this time i ran 40:1 with lucas synthetic oil and its bogging i added more oil with out measuring but its not smoking and not running properly you think that oil dont mix good and what ratio should i use .i ride on elevation oround 4000f

    hey i have a 94 yamaha blaster that is driving me crazy.
    i have bored over once is 66.5 wiseco piston.
    i have a fmf fatty pipe with silencer
    uni air filter open lid.
    i took it to the park and 5minutes into the ride the engine die.I whent home open the top and had the piston melted.they told me because they put a pipe and filter it was running lean.so i put the new piston and n vitos jet kit.then i notice it was running hot but i continue.now my pipe change color and i feel it runs hot and my engine ticks because is so hot.im running 310 jet and the pilot jet they provided,and the needle on 3 i feel it bogs on 5 n 6 gear i dond know if is cuz is asking for gas or needs gas.this weekend i whent to cow mountain(ca) elevation to 4000f and it ran good on 1,2,3 gear n 4,5, wouldnt kick in not to mention 6,it was getting hot it it got to the point that no gear was hitting.so i got tow to camp n check the plug and it was mocha brown so is good.but why no 456 gear,n y is it running hot
