yea, i read about needing to have the head machined to allow for the extra length in the crankshaft.

i was planning on takin the whole cylinder to a machine shop and have it bored, not buy a big bore kit. I was figureing a 72.5mm piston cuz the bigger the better. I was also planning on havin it ported, i just need to find a place for all that stuff. What is trenching the cases?

i finally measured my piston, and as i thought, 68mm(the guy i bought it from said it was a 240). So i decided to make it bigger. I want to get a 72.5 mm big bore piston and i was wondering if a +4mm stroker would b compatiable. Are they generally universal(piston and crankshaft)?

I already cleaned it twice today. my guess is that they are worn out or out of allignment.

Ya kno, i was kinda thinkin that when i was lookin at it. I tried bending that tiny lil piece of wire that connects the float to the valve.

is there a thread or video on that? i dont kno how to do that. O and the main jet is a toomey 310.

ok, so i took the carb apart, floats and all, its still leaking. do i need a carb rebuild kit?

ok, wen i looked earlier, i didnt see anything on the sides but it looked like it said "DIE" on the other side of the hole from the number that looked like 63.

wel, ill try to find a magnifying glass to get a better look wen i go clean it again. The number should be on the top of the jet?

I think thats what it said. Its a stock carb, but i hav a toomey b1 pipe n silencer that came on it, and i was lookin on the toomey website at that, and it said it came with jets. I was just wondering if that is the toomey jet, or the stock jet?

I tried the tapping thing, i guess ill just go re clean it. thank u. o and What about the jet size?
