Gearing is NOT the only thing that determines your speed, 1996BlasterBoy. If a 240 Blaster and a stock Blaster raced and had the same gear ratios, do you think they'd be going the same speed?

I don't think you'll have luck with any other exhausts. Your best bet would be to run it a gear higher than needed so you can keep your RPMs down.

Should be buying a 2003 YZ250 this weekend. Are there any common problems with the YZ? I wasn't able to find anything through searching Google. Is there anythin particular to look out for? Are there any YZ owners on here? Thanks for the help guys.

41 Tooth back sprocket will give you more torque. A 13 tooth front is stock an wont change anything. What are your lookin for, torque or top speed?
