Hey guys I was wondering what my jetting should be on my quad.... I am putting in the BBK in this week and having it ported.... i have Vforce 3 reeds, open Air Box, FMF Powercore 2 silencer, upgraded clutch, widened and lowered
ya pretty sure i had a leak somewhere.....i started leaking oil a few days before :/
and ya i dont think anything fell down cause I found one chunk of the piston still sitting right on top when i got the quad home and the cylinder is perfect nothing sored or wrong there
when i measured the piston it came out to 2.5 inches which ='s 63.5mm.....but wisceo doesnt have a piston that size....did i measure it wrong??? whats the normal piston size and what would be if it was bored out to 240 like he said? (think thats what the kid said when i bought it)
So when i bought my blaster the kid told me it was bored out but he forgot how much it was bored out and i need to buy a new piston and rebuild the top end....iam pretty sure its a wiseco piston but not sure......and what come with the top end rebuild kit from wiseco......and is wiseco the best...
so finally started to take my motor apart and this is what i found....
soo my question is now... how do i actually take off the piston from the rod and can i just throw on a new piston and be all set or what should i do???
Nothing fell in there that I know..... Really hopin I didn't do too much damage.... There's been a ton of money put into this motor and Iam broke right now just spent $600 on headers for my car.... No haven't pulled anything apart yet waiting to leak test it first..... And I'll def keep you guys...
so i was out riding the other day when my quad started to bog down and it felt like it was misfiring so i stopped and checked my profire ignition wire was still attached (checked that first cause that fell off last weekend) then pulled the plug and swapped it out for a new one....it ran fine for...

so i checked and my voltage regulator is still there....any way to check if its good or bad?? the light was fine for a while and then it blew when i really got on the gas going through the trails
