Anybody Else Play?? MW3 WW3

Modern Warfare 3 is comeing soon I hear it has online multiplayer splitscreen like Black Ops for your buddies who come over unlike MW2. Me I'm undecided if I should be excited or not, me and my wallet can never keep up with all these SE consoles that are $400 when the game is automaticaly $60. That and when you finally shell out the cash it get's replaced with something else a year or so later that dwarfs the mofo. Sitting on your tv collecting dust unless you got some bitchin deals on games you like. I dont know anymore. Wow sorry for the mini rant but lets here what you guys think about it.
 
personally , yah i'm a lil excited, but i think i'm gonna get battlefield 3 and wait to get mw3, cause black ops just about killed the COD series for me

to the OP, i'd save my money. games are a rip-off already so all these SE consoles that microsoft puts out is salt in the wounds. sadly, there are stupid ppl out there that buy each one of the new editions that do the same damn thing as the previous. as far as MW3 goes though, i will wait until black friday as usual to pick it up along with others. MW2 wasn't all that great either so i don't expect much from this one,.
 
Me neather I'll probably just get a 250 GIG system (because it would be my first Xbox360)and Gears of war cause I played that at my cousins house and that game was pretty cool and If I feel like it I'll buy MW3 if there isint an elephant stampede when I get therein late NOV.
04BB yea I'm told Battlefield 3 is pretty decent as well. I might have to look at it as well, Yea same here on COD B.O.
 
im getting MW3 at the midnight release, will be playing forever it will seem lol.

you cant factor black ops in, that game was total garbage and it's because Treyarch made it instead of Infinity Ward, and we all know Treyarch can't make a good game to save their asses.

im not buying battlefield 3, im COD loyal lol
 
battlefield 3 is awesome! if you are thinking about getting it, do it...

but I will be getting mw3 also lol...
 
treyarch can't make a good game? that's a silly statement right there. COD:WAW was great, BO was good. infinity just brought the heat with COD 4 so no one gives Treyarch a chance.

WAW was easily the best COD.... and black ops is the most balanced...
WAW was also very balanced other then the mp40....

all the infinity ward games are horribly unbalanced....

Making them so much freaking fuun!! explosions everywhere and jjust total chaos makes it epic!!

But seriously, ive never had any problem wiht noobtubers, ump users or any other stuff people say is overpowered....making every gun the same to "balance" things out takes the fun out too....cuz with the infinity ward game you can really tell the difference between guns.
 
hmm, i might get mw3 before bf3, i am a COD fan still even tho i am so pissed at black ops, i went back and played some WAW and MW2 and had fun

Im COD loyal as well, but have to correct you on the infinity ward comment. Sledgehammer games, and Treyarch are the main developer for COD MW3 but they are working with what is left of infinity ward and developers credit will go to Sledgehammer, Treyarch, and Infinity Ward.

Intresting none the less. Thats why I'm a Gears fan for shure now that the third one has come out. Granted with the COD series eather your good or you werent and it sucked apples untill you would practiced for like a week straight. you would get owned unless you had rapidfire and fast reloading........

Sorry just was referring to the fact that treyarch outsourced work to raven, sledgehammer, and what's left of infinity ward (which if you've followed is not the same company). Activision still lists Treyarch as the main developer though through them work was outsourced to the above mentioned.

So technically, Treyarch has final call and like you I am hoping they don't drop the bomb. I will be getting it regardless ... Although MW2 was not my fav of the series I still played the sh*t out of it.

And second on GW3, just finished that game and the campaign blows away any COD campaign ever ... period. Though Gears attraction is campaign and is third-person while MW's attraction IMO is multiplayer and it is first person...

I'm hoping they keep zombies on MW3 anyone have word on that?

if you count a 3+ K/D on both consoles getting wrecked then okay you are right...

I don't care if the guns are unbalanced, but perks being unbalanced ruins a game.... commando, painkiller, OMA noob toobs ruined mw2...

and guns being balanced does not mean they are all the same...
 
k/d isn't a reflection of skill

there is no "unstoppable" perk combination, you can work around whatever, so it's not a game breaker

and I didn't say the guns being balanced = them being the same.

unbalanced-ness is what makes the games fun because there will always be the noobs that use the cheesiest possible combination of weapons/perks and they still get trashed non-stop, then they proceed to rage :D

when everything is fair the gameplay is very "vanilla" and that doesn't make it fun to keep playing
