The blaster powered kx80

the 80's didnt make 27, at the crank maybe, but the 125's are the ones that make around that at the rear wheel. as for the blaster engine you will not be disappointed, 17 hp at the rear wheels is on the quad which has a hell of alot more drivetrain than a bike. however i think gearing might be an issue when going from a 300+ quad to a 150lb bike.

I agree with out there about gearing. And yes thats 27 at the crank, to the wheels it proboblly 20ish idk...

Well this project is slowly coming back to life, I'll have it at my shop soon and I'll then be able to get the new section welded up.

Well heres a little update.

I have it all together now as a roller, I still need the section welded in, I'm just trying to get everything lined up before I do any welding.

Mind you all its not at my shop yet so I've been working at sub-zero temps. Hopefully it should be at my shop within a week.

Good to see this back on track bro.........

Dam snow already still in the 50 in Jersey.

Now the KX looks old school.

Nice job bro......

Ok for you who are looking forward to seeing this as much as I am I just want to let ya'll know I haven't givin up on it. My life has been crazy the last few months... I really don't think I could explain it lol.

Once I get into my blaster build a little more, I'm going back into this hybird build.

More updates soon.

Ok well I've been thinking..

To make the engine line up with the sprokets I have to shave just a bit off the cases to move it to the right. Originally with the xr engine it was mounted forward of the pivot, so why don't I do the same for this? The only thing that holds me back is I have to streach the frame just a little for it to fit..
Anyone have something to say about this?
