YZ490 blaster swap, counterbalancer help

I have a YZ490 i may be putting in a blaster frame i have. Has anyone seen or know how to build a counterbalancer for my motor. I have a good friend that works for a great machine shop so i have the tools just need some help finding info on it. thanks

theres no room in the engine case for a counterbalancer. if you want a counterbalanced 500 try to swap a LT500R engine. otherwise get ready for the good vibes

one thing you could do to cut down on vibration is dynamic spin balance the crank assembly. it will help tame the vibes a lot, use rubber isolation engine mount bushings, etc..

can't say i've ever seen a counterbalanced stock-ish crankcase YZ490. if its on youtube post the link here..

Will try to find it, a friend showed me recently. He did a test with it on and it cut vibrations in half. used a cup of water on a string hanging from handlebars

Member Mart 300r on E2S has successfully counter balanced a CR500 and he's the only one with youtube vids of it.
He did indeed have to make a bump out on the case to fit it.
