Hi everyone, i am just getting started on my YZ315 blaster project and was curious to know who else has done a YZ swap and how much work was involved in fitting the motor and building the exhaust. Is there an exhaust that will work or will i have to piece it together?

Its pretty much the same for all 250 swaps, u must find a way to mount the rear of the motor with the stock blaster swingarm. Then after all the mounts are good the pipe a problem, most dirtbike pipes wont just "bolt on".
Its alot of work. how did you get a yz250 punched out to a 315?

i did the swap with minimal budget and i think it came out alright i got the stock pipe to work but the frame was pre cut and cut the rear swing arm to fit the 250. there are several really good builds of the same that are better than mine but its all takes work and a measure of skill.
