Can a wrist pin be reused if im putting my top end with 25 hours onto another bottom end? .im replacing the c clips and wrist bearing of course.
Thanks in advance

i dont see why not but if your putting in new wrist pin bearing and c clips why not put in a new wrist pin?
it should work tho

Have a good look at the pin. If it is all shiny metal, no problem.
If it is burnt, blued, rough, pitted, ridged, or marked, or if you can feel the marks with your fingers, no good.
Kind of a fuzzy photo, but only one of these pins are any good:

Why would you? Wrist pins are cheap! New bearing (top) New wrist pin! Right?

Wrist pins r $20 ..I dont want to spend a extra 20 if I dont have to .the wrist bearing comes with a new crank and the clips r a dollar for both

Like I told another forum user, go ahead and use the old wrist pin, it's like using old worn out stretched chain and new sprockets. Disaster is eminent
