What Jets Should I be Running?

What jets should I be running, with FMF fatty, powercore 2, and .020 over, and K&N knock off air filter with the stock air box and lid?
BTW, I have a stock carb, and I'm about 20' above sea level.

Also without making another thread, is klotz super techniplate 2stroke gonna be fine to run with this setup?

somewhere between 240-270 with the airbox lid on it still.


only way to actually know is to do plug chops

id say brando is pretty close, start with a 270, its always better to be a little rich than to lean... and see how it runs and like he said do plug chops...

yea 250ish to 270ish....but i would go no airbox lid, and get an outerwears if u ride in real dusty and dirty conditions

Not sure with lid on, but when I had your same exact setup on an 06, only my airbox lid was off, I used a 330 main with stock needle and clip on the second clip position down from top, also the stock 32.5 pilot, for absolute crisp throttle response,pulled like a freight train, air screw 1 3/4 out. I am also at around 20 to 40 feet altitude here on the coast of NC.

Cool, and I would lose the air box lid, but it is very dusty and dirty where I ride, and I occasionally get in some mud and water and I don't want to suck either in.

Also is the klotz super techniplate 2 stroke gonna be fine to run?

Also correct me if I'm wrong, but the larger the number, the larger the jet, the richer it will run?

yep the bigger jet you run the richer it will be

and yes klotz it good...32:1 is what premix ratio you should run
