This weekend marks the final National race for the legendary Southwick Motocross track in Southwick Mass. It seems Local 338 was unable to reach an agreement with the land owner to continue hosting the event. My good friend Bon Bushy will be providing support for John Dowd at the event this weekend. I had the pleasure of watching John practice on Tuesday night at a private track down the road from my house. He’s running a Kawasaki 450 and the thing sounds sick. I’m pretty sure he’ll be the oldest rider to enter the event this weekend. He can still haul the mail for a 48 year old dude. John is local and is known for his superior ability to ride in the sand and he’s going to be right at home in Southwick. This is pro moto-x boys and you should be able to catch the race on TV.
