I'm buying a 01 Yamaha blaster and its been sitting for 6 months should I clean out the carb or get a aftermarket carburetor

Clean the stock one. Writ down the size jets it has and set the float.
Drain gas tank and put new fuel in.
Make sure you have 2 stroke oil in the tank at rear.
Grease all nipples and check over all bolts on the frame and wheels.
