Shock Pin Wanted

I just did a 450 EX shock install, but inorder to remove teh old bottom pin, I had to cut it into 3 pieces before I got it out. Anyone have a pin for sale? Perferably in Canada, the border can be a real pain.

I would just get a grade 5 bolt. Much eaiser to take on on off, and you dont have to worry about getting that cotter key off all the time.

That is one of my options. The diameter of a 12 mm bolt is about .1 mm smaller than the pin, which is why I was thinking the pin is better. In the meantime a bolt will definitely work, but I think the pin would be better in the long run.

We ended up drilling it out to 1/2 and using a grade 8 bolt... Works great. 12mm is very close to 1/2"

Yeah, I may do that, 1/2 inch is 12.5 mm. Much easier to get a 1/2 inch bolt than 12mm.
