I have a 2000 and i switched to a banshee rear hydro, im still using the stock rotor and axle the problem is when i tried to change pads the dont fit it seems like the rotor is to thick. do i need to change the rotor and if so from what year and do i need to change the rotor hub too

i will be posting pics soon

You shouldnt need to get a different rotor. It should be just fine. You might need to just push the piston back a little more. It sounds to me that the piston is closed a little to much for you to slide it on. Put a flat head screwdriver between the pads and seperate them, then put it back on.

I agree, you may want to open the cap on master cylinder before you compress it in.
