I did the brakes on my 2005 blaster, no problem. I bring my brothers used supposedly 2004 blaster home to do rear brakes on his. I have couple set of pads and am having a problem putting this caliper back on his bike. I stop and take a minute to try to see what im doing wrong and notice his old worn out pads have a hole in each of them, ?. just wondered why and wonder if maybe this isnt the original caliper. Oh and ps in the pic with the pads the bottom ones are the ones i just took off the top pads are from my blaster

No big deal, different manufacturers do different things.Have you tried pressing the piston on the caliper back in.Use a c clamp and go slow and move the piston back till it sits flush with the caliper. That should fix it for you.
