It saddens my heart to report that our good friend and loyal member Durby, Mike Owens of Oroville Ca.
was killed yesterday morning in an atv accident.

besides closely watching mike build the 2 blasters for his kids,
I've had personal dealings with Mike, and always enjoyed our talks.
my sincere condolences go out to Mikes family and children.

R.I.P. Brother Mike, you will never be forgotten !

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. A very sad day for bf. RIP Mike. You will not be forgotten.

This has me really torn up. I am deeply saddened and feel for his family. A dude just like us out doing what he loves. Now his family will have an empty spot in thier hearts forever. A true family man building quads to ride with his kids, this really hits close to home. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours, RIP Mike.

found these pics of Mike on his family's facebook pages.

I lost my brother-in-law in a atv accident, and it sucks.
RIP Mike Owens, its very sad to lose one of our forum family members.

This is his wife Brandy and I thank you all for your condolences. He loved riding quads and he died riding with a smile. I do not know how the green monster quad will get finished or the reeds in my daughters fixed, but just know i will not be getting rid of these as they are the last thing he did for his children.

I am pretty sure that a few friends of Mike will rally around and at least fix the reeds in the Daughters bike.

I would dearly like it to be me but distance puts an end to that option.
