quick newb question about gaskets

Clutch cover gasket has been ripped can i use yamabond in place of or with the gasket or do i have to order a new one. I was thinkin if i can use yamabond between the cases that i could but dont know, thanks

you can use an oil resistant silicone for now until you get a new gasket
