Powercore 2 question

My bike came with a power core 2 and it sounded loud thought it neede repacked when i took shell off found that sheetmetal or sumthin was wrapped n tacked around core tight no leakage so it was like a straight pipe will this hurt bike/backpressure im clueless

It did not do damage, but should be removed

the back pressure is primarily in the header part of the pipe. some from the muffler but not as big

do you have the FMF header? if so you need to check your jetting

No stock header. So it shouldnt run it how it is

If you fear that some damage will be done, do a plug chop to confirm that the jetting is correct.

It has only been risden once like that no damage has been done but with correct jetting can i leave it like that it sounds good n dsnt leak just dnt know much about exhaust n figured id ask
