thank you Blaaster poor seating is 100 per cent the prob id say as it was left up awhile can they be freed out or do they have to be replaced

Sometimes the seating can be fixed by flipping them over.

Reeds are a cheap fix, buy yourself a new set and install them correctly.

My choice of reed is a dual stage type.
 
ANOTHER PROBLEM bad compression not sure if timing is out or valves stuck or oil ring whats easiest way of checking this thing wreaking my head

There are no valves on a blaster or any 2 stroke excluding power valves, but you will need a compression tester to find out how much its producing. Normal automotive stores should carry them but be sure you have the right adapter for the spark plug of the blaster, take the plug with you to the store if you have to.
