Where abouts you from? Like SI said it's kinda a crap shoot. If you take the time to look everything over and take good pics some of the blasterforum bros would help ya out.
You could sell the clutch cover, front shocks, rear end w/ shock all for 100 w/ fees paid on ebay or here if it ends up being a dud. Also you've got nerfs, and an aftermarket bumper!

Well dude was saying he wanted like 400 now. Trying to get me to go saying other people were offering more. w.e Seems like every blaster I try to buy its some redneck asking to much ha. Im In east texas btw, I think some one asked. Still on the look out. I hope to find one soon.

Found another deal. I been searching CL all day at work haha. Its 3 hours away from me but thats not to bad.

" I have a 2002 Yamaha Blaster That is in good condition. the other one is a good straight frame for parts. The 2002 has a new motor, magneto (put on today), Grayden Proline accessories, Maier fenders, painted frame, racing everything, new upholstered seat, chrome fatty pipe, and many others. I also have 2 bucketloads of spare screws,cylinders,carburators,, and alot of other things. As you can see in the picture there is also a new racing exhaust pipe and seat. I know what this all is worth and im letting it go cheap. What is keeping the 02' from running is the wires. They have to be hooked up. There is also 2 motor blocks that go with this, they are messed up but the transmissions are good and one has hot rods racing parts in it."

He said the only thing keeping it from running is it needs the wires to be hooked up and gas tank put on.Seems like a good deal, but I know its another one of them gambles. Whats the most I should pay for something like this ? He said the motor kicks over could I still do a compression test like that ? Btw thanks guys for all this help.

looks decent. and yes u can do a compression test without it running. but hooking up the wires takes a few minutes i dont see how that is a problem. be wary. he made it sound good. but what is he asking for it? ure better off copy and posting the link for us to see

Every time I find one it ends up sold or they want way to much. This is bumming me out. haha I found an amazing looking 400ex for 600 just needs a new top end. Kinda tempted but I still really want a blaster. Summers here and still dont have anything to ride on this 60 acres FML

Haha I just read that same listing 2 days ago. I too am from texas. If i didnt already have a blaster build going on I would pick that one up. For 350 it could just be worn out since he said he can pull start it behind another four wheeler. Or it could just need a thourogh carb cleaniing. But if he can get it running by pull starting it, then I wouldnt really worry about any serious internal problems.

Picked the blaster up today. Needs alot of cleaning and work. Only thing Im really not happy with is the front bumper. Gonna start tearing it apart tonight. Gonna replace alot of stuff, repaint alot of stuff, new plastics, and rebuild the motor. They guy said the motors stock but from seeing all the stickers I hope some of them parts are in it ha. Here is some pics before the tear down. Gonna start a build thread later too.

oh sh*t so the bumper was welded? wow! when ppl weld when they shouldnt if just fks up sh*t in the long run. looks like u have a extended steering stem too and VF2 I:I. i forgot but how much did u get it for? like 400? needs a top end right?

No got this for 300 said he can pull start says it needs a coil. I dont know what to do with the bumper. Thinking of re welding and smoothing that part up before paint.

its still a good price. i'd grind all that sh*t off and see if u can get a bumper to mount back up. i forgot how the bolts go. u may have to fab up somethin
