Hello,

My stock blaster's handle is complete trash. I recently brought the blaster and the previous owner broke the lever and he made a simple fix with a copper pipe and electrical tape. I would just replace the lever but the lever can move up and down freely. Im not just saying foward and backward, like it actually moves up and down alot if that makes any sense. I tried tighten the bolt but I couldnt get it to tighten anymore. Im guessing it has something to do with the perch. I've been looking at the MSR AOF clutch lever and perch. Will I need a new cable for it? Also with this new perch the parking break looks like it will need to be removed and I couldnt find alot of info, does anyone have a link on how to do it?

Thanks

If you mean that the brakes are hydraulic then possibly yes. It has the oil for it. But I have a 2004 blaster so the parking break is on the clutch side. My question is if I will need a new cable for the clutch if I get the MSR AOF Clutch lever and perch. I figured out how to remove the parking brake, but Im not sure what cap to get, any advice?

changing to any clutch perch besides another stock perch for that 03+ hydro brake setup will invole eliminating the e-brake cable, and losing e-brake capabilities. (I haven't mised my e-brake for years)

you'll need a block off plate for the caliper, pick any one, blaster/banshee are the same.............

your stock clutch cable should work with any perch, it did on both my MSR and el-cheapo EZ pull perch/handles

I got it in. Tried to install it yesterday but I couldn't take out the end of the cable from the stock lever. Did anyone have this problem?
