Looking for a good stator

Just as title says, I am in need of a good working stator. Let me know if you have anything PM me with a price please!

If your stator has a bad source coil, (Common) just buy a new source coil the your local Yamaha dealer and solder it in.

It's the plate that the coils go on. It broke in half. I'm probably going to get my buddy to weld the piece back together or get a new plate and move everything over to the new plate.

Yeow! How did it get broke in half? I wouldn't bother welding it back together. This is how I would fix it.

Thanks! I'm not rel sure how it broke, but luckily it was still bolted on when I took the motor apart. If it would have come loose it could have been bad!!

Before you fit the new stator plate, check for blemishes or protrusions where it mounts, there has to be a high spot which stops the plate sitting in place.

I'll take pics of the process. Gonna try and weld it first, if that doesn't work then we're gonna swap out a new plate on it.

That vitos plate is cheap i wouldn't even screw with trying to weld it, its dirty old aluminum, your gonna spend 3 times the time trying to weld it an have so so results, buy the plate an be done
