i was looking at the trail tech lights but there 35w bulbs and run 70 watts.so i need the ricky 75w lighting coil.how hard is it to install this?is it just two screws for the coil itself?i saw the whole stator plate with degree adjuster for like 125.00 but do i really need all that or just the lighting coil for 39.00?any input appreciated.

i run the 75 watt stator
remove flywheel, remove stator, unbolt the old coil from the stator plate, cut the existing wire at the solder joint, install new stator, slip a small piece of heat shrink tubing over the wire, solder new coil wire to harness wire, slide heat shrink over solder joint and heat to shrink.
place ring connector under the screw for the ground.

not too hard, but you'll need to be able to solder the new coil to the harness wire and tuck it back in and a small ty-rap to hold it as it was to the stator plate
