Installed 400es shock today

This worked out good with KORs bushings for the top. I did not like how much play was at the bottom . I used some Toyota oil plug washers. Made of Alum and have fiber washers bonded to the sides , they will wear in to the correct clearance.

And may continue to wear to the point of non existence.
 
i doubt there will be any further wear once they break into the clearance, there isnt much or any side thrust on the shock, if there was we would see more swingarm shock mounts wearing out
 
Looks great, nicely done. I have an aftermarket rear shock that uses that same style lower mount. I did something very similar and even made an aluminum spacer for the center section. Needed??? I felt better :)
