I have some deep scratches and a lot of bills so instead of buying new plastics im fixin the ones I have. when you use the knife, hold it at 85-90 degrees from plastic and make sure its sharp.
- move position quickly with light to medium pressure.
-wetsand with 400 grit, 600, then800.
-use novus plastic polish. pool, atv, firewks. 067.jpg

i never used the knife trick, but always just run my torch very quickly over the plastics, it takes all the little fuzzies off the scratches, and seems to make them shine a little better too

hey, thanks man I think I remember reading about that a while back, but I had forgotten.

use a puddy knife just sharpen well it works real great then use 1 light coat of that
sparkly krylon(for plastics) clear coat this has lasted 3 months with LOTS of abuse dont use lots of
clear coat.
