how to make a Blaster quiet?

Are there any tips/tricks on making a (1999) blaster more quiet?,
the neighbours are complaining about the ''noise''
I'm using a stock pipe/silencer and I still have the lid on the airbox,
I don't really care if I loose some power.

You've done all you can, you keeped it stock..
I think your neighbours don't need to complain, you could always invite some friends with performance goodies on their quads/ dirtbikes, then they are glad when you are riding alone, bone stock
But seriously, you can make an extra silencer on it, Good luck with the neighbours.
Ik zie nu pas dat je ook een Nederlander bent, dat is flink balen met de buren!
Blaster is luchtgekoeld ,dus lawaaieriger als een watergekoeld blok.
Je zou er misschien een terugloop demper extra op kunnen maken,op die manier blijft het hele spul binnen de kappen.

Zelf 1 lassen, 180° bocht en een 125cc demper vast aan de originele demper.(125cc crossmotor demper is dezelfde diameter als blaster)
misschien niet zo mooi, maar zal echt wel wat verschil maken.
Op dit moment rijd ik nergens, blok ben ik aan het reviseren.
Maar ik heb kenteken er op dus ik rij overal met het ding
Maar ik woon in limburg, dus in limburg/brabant rij ik veel.

Ik hou zeker van crossen, is die baan voor crossmotors en quads?

LOL I was saying: I just noticed you come frome Holland also, and that an air cooled engine makes more noise then a H2o engine.
Don't know or you're familiar in the states with reverse silencers, (scooters) but i said he could make a reverse silencer on his stock silencer.
And a track he rides on

Fmf also makes a silencer for the blaster called the q silencer that advertises low noise with no power loss I dunno if that is an option where u live

Get new neighbors. A blaster isn't noisy...at least in stock form.

haha I wish I could get new neighbours, I am going to put on an extra silencer this weekend and see how that works,

Make sure your exhaust isn't leaking anywhere.

As far as I know it is leak free. but I'll check this weekend and also test another silencer I have.

I'm gonna try an aftermarket silencer this afternoon and see what that does, it's a SPES (Special power exhaust systems)
