how do i premix fuel to 32:1

i just read through a thread with good info by 4cfed but im new to 2strokes and i just got to the point in my build to start my engine for the first time but i havnt figured out how to do the premix yet what im asking is how many gallons of gas do i mix to 1 quart

It should tell you on the bottle how many oz per gallon.

there are 128 oz in a gallon, divided by 32 = 4

there are 32 oz in a quart, divided by 4 = 8

so 8 gallons

ok just to make sure this calculator is right it says for 5 gallons to make the 32:1 ratio it takes 20 ounces of oil is that right or did i do something wrong

for every gallon of gas add 4 ounces of 2 stroke oil.
one gallon = 128 ounces

Hey buddy. Dont forget that 2strokes dont do well with old gas or gas that has been sitting around. So you dont wanna mix up a whole batch then have the rest sitting around. Mix what you need for the moment.

glad you said that because thats what i was going to do

i got a bottle from canadian tire. you can go somewhere else. but the bottle just has a chart on it, and if you wanna mix 32:1 and you have 5 litres you go to the 32:1 section and fill it up to the 5. then pour it in the gas. no thinking involved I:I
