Help!!! Wont run!!!

My 04 blaster will run if i pull the air box hose of the carb but it will only idle if I put it back on! It will die if i give it the gas with it on, but will rev with it of??? Want to race this Sat. and need to get it going!:-/:-/:-/

check for air leaks

yeah, just changed it! old one was dirty!

try cleaning the carb and check for air leaks. did you change the type of filter or anything else? when did this start?

Cleaned carb, I was just riding the other day and it just died and couldn't get it going so my buddy pulled me home! was running a no toil dual stage filter! put the old one back on (it was still good, just put the new one on for my last race) I'm going to check the reeds next!
