So I have a 98’ Blaster, and it has a few problems. When I first got it, it had an idle problem. This was before I had any knowledge about 2 strokes or the quad for that matter. I took the seat off and proceeded to adjust the large silver screw by the tank, thinking it would help adjust the idle. I later learned that it was the fuel adjust screw, and the idle adjuster was on the carb. Now I have a problem becasue I’m pretty sure it’s not getting enough gas, and it’s affecting the power and I don’t know where to adjust the fuel intake back to. Any ideas?

If you're talking about the screw with a straight slot and knurled edge , that is the slid stop/adjustment.

A new to you blaster you should start with a complete fuel system cleaning , starting with the tank and petcock.
Search for the DIY on this site for carb cleaning and how to adjust it.
Also make sure air filter is clean.
Probably a bazillion how tos on YouTube.

A well maintained quad will seldom leave you stranded. Go over everything. Should also be able to find a downloadable manual here.
A Blaster is about as simple as a machine can be .
